stroke survivor designs clothes for stoke patients

I didn’t write this article (link above) but wanted to spotlight Milan Shahani for finding a creative way to meet the need for stroke patients to have fashionable, adaptive clothing options.

As a disability rights activist, fashion lover, and social worker in University Health Network’s (UHN) acute care, stroke unit, this is so positive to see. What a difference this professor is making. Can you imagine not being able to dress yourself any longer nevermind having no clothing options to wear each day? Very disheartening.

Big shout out to Milan Shanani, professor of fashion at George Brown College.
