Cherish Picklyk

Founder, Led Social Worker, Psychotherapist, RSW, MSW

It all begins with an idea. An idea to cherish your mental health. Maybe you book your first consultation to see where it takes you.

CHERISH’S OASIS STORY

After years of helping young adults through individual therapy, crisis intervention, and comprehensive mental health resource support at various hospitals and family health teams across Toronto, I was inspired to open Cherish’s Oasis Counselling - to help even more young adults with their daily struggles! I provide confidential, professional, compassionate counselling to people from diverse backgrounds. In addition, I led wellness related and attachment based workshops in corporate and non profit settings to help people find inner peace within relationships and reach their goals. Since opening in the Mount Pleasant area in 2019, my practice has grown, and I still enjoy supporting clients become their best self and value their stories.

I am committed to creating a space where you can be yourself.

Beyond my individual and group therapy work, I am passionate about creating change. For example, in 2020, I was appointed as a social work leader in primary healthcare for the Ontario Association of Social Workers' Healthcare Advisory Group. This group helps ensure social workers' opinions are heard by the board and political leaders to influence mental health reforms and healthcare policies.

My Mission for Cherish’s Oasis Counselling is to provide a safe, nurturing space where clients can develop mental resiliency and understand how to foster healthier relationships with oneself and others.
